The Role
The project was interesting, but I felt overqualified for the tasks I was given to perform.
The environment is extremely friendly everybody is there to help you, even EDs and MDs spare a couple of minutes to talk to everyone, not only about work, but also personal issues.
I think I was an exception because my department was undergoing some serious management changes, but I was given guidance and then independence to completed my project.
The workload varies from day to day, I have had some days which I didn't have anything to do, but this was the time that I was assigned training courses, other days were really busy, but it was only twice that I stayed up late.
I was given the complete responsibility of my project which was not only exiting, but an invaluable learning process.
I expected to develop skills related to my area of study, but I was still pleased when I realized that I actually acquired much more valuable life experience and advice.
The Company
I was working closely wit ha lot of interns, developed strong relationships with all of my closely aligned colleagues, and had an amazing summer.
The recruitment team had made their best to constantly organize diverse networking events, which the majority of people really enjoyed.
I was given the freedom to learn anything that I wanted, multiple work shadowing sessions and meetings with high standing employees.

It is a great company, culture and environment, people are very understanding and carrying. I wouldn't say I have missed anything while I was working here, I would love to come back.
The Culture
I made lifelong friendships.
Everything was reasonably well priced, perfect location arranged by the company for accommodation with ASDA and Tesco in walking distance, many 西瓜视频 discounts, transport is probably the greatest expense, but everything is within walking distance. Gym costs 拢12, a great cocktail 拢5, bus ticket 拢3.
Amazing night life, all clubs were within 15-20 minutes on foot, great variability, although most of the interns chose to reside most of the time in a handful of clubs.
You have to ask to find them, but I played football which allowed me to develop great connection with people from different departments
