About You
A great deal, except it was too fully packed
They gave us alot of networking opportunities
HR was always there to support as well as refer us to people who could help
Interpersonal skills as well as analytical skills applicable to reading the FT/news
The Company
A bit rushed at times
Everyone was really attentive, friendly and asked loads of questions
Besides talks on banking, we had talks on personal development as well and HR made us set goals to help ourselves and our career goals
We had a lot of networking sessions with people from all divisions so it helped greatly in finding out their work schedule and day to day work life.
The networking, introduction as well as hearing past interns and long time employees really helped us understand the culture.
Case studies helped us in our understanding.
Everything Else
Transport reimbursed and meals were provided
Too many in fact. Almost all lunches and breaks were used for networking.
Could have been longer . First social event at the bar was a tad too chaotic but good for mingling within ourselves.
We had a whole session dedicated to the resource groups within the firm.
Many many opportunities, good source of knowledge and also forged some good friendships!
