About You
The opportunity to take part in activities which were challenging and rewarding in terms of learning experiences made it very enjoyable.
Lots of effort was put into preparing us for desk rotations as well as the end of week presentation. Everyone was seen as individual through their treatment during the programme.
There were always opportunities to ask questions and for guidance when unsure.
A huge amount of information and skills were passed onto us through group exercises and company presentations. Particularly when presenting to a large group I feel far better prepared for those occasions now.
The Company
The week was extremely well managed with transitions between activities swift and timely resulting in an intense week of learning and exposure to many company areas.
Fun socials and friendly employers made for an atmosphere which encouraged making the most of the whole week and the opportunities it offered.
We were given guidance on presenting, teamwork and learning which gave us a great basis for the week.
Taking part in 4 desk rotations meant everyone had great exposure to what the job exactly entails.
Having senior employees present to us on the first day enabled us to fully understand the company culture and what was expected of us as well as consistency in the impression received from the desk rotations.
Seeing what the actual job entailed gave huge insight which is proving invaluable to deciding which career path to take.
Everything Else
Offer of reimbursement of travel expenses or accommodation if required.
Networking was placed as a focus of the week which enabled us to fully understand its importance through meeting people later on during the desk rotations.
Events were put on 3 days out of 5 which made making friends easy and for learning about the company in a more relaxed environment.
From talking to current employees I to some extent did see into what activities were on offer but we never received information explicitly on this.
100%, there is nothing like first hand exposure, especially at a top firm which invests in everyone on the programme.
