The Role
A great internship, with the opportunity to really develop myself. Not only a focus to complete my project but for the company to invest in developing me.
A real job with real responsibilities, and the oppourtunity to express an opinion which is valued and even expected.
Support was great all the way. from co-worker to management, they make sure I have everything that I need.
My internship lent itself to some busy periods but also the opportunity to spend some time on self evaluation.
Learned all basic office skills from photocopying/IT systems which will be relevant in any administrative job
The experience alone would give a person a better understanding of the business world and an understanding of group dynamics and teamwork that would defiantly assist anyone returning to education. The experience alone would allow for people to think outside the box as they would have a better understanding of a working practice rather than just a methodology.
The Company
The internship was well structured and It was obvious that a lot of time and planning went in what the company wanted us to gain from the internship but also accommodating what we wanted to gain from it also.
Well organised, with pre-defined objectives set within each rotation.
A large amount of time and trust was given to me and the other interns especially from my line manager.
Flexi Time
Sports and Social Club
Company Parties/Events
Healthcare from home
Would definitely love to work for them again.
The Culture
We had our own group email and often organised parties and nights out. Even during work we could meet up for a break / coffee / shopping.
Expensive as everyone around that area tended to have a very high salary.
Fantastic, plenty of choice of the events and the city's huge array of clubs
Good sports social life as well as organised evenings.
