  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • A demanding, interesting and valuable experience. I would strongly recommend it!

  • This is a huge team, but by the time I was finished with my project I had a very good relation with several of my teammates and senior managers.

  • Most of what I learned was through discussions with my manager. He was supportive at all times.

  • Some tasks depended on my teammates which were not always around during holiday season.

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • I was given ownership of my entire project and had to complete or delegate all tasks - from manual labor to organizing and leading meetings.

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • I experienced the practical application of my skills and got a good insight into the business model of the firm and it's connection with technology.

  • It is a corporate environment after all.

  • Clearly a lot of effort and resources have been thrown into organizing the internship program. There were some tiny issues but our feedback was carefully gathered and hopefully everything will be ironed-out for next year.

  • I couldn't have asked for more resources or support.

  • Everyone is given a chance and position offerings solely on your performance and motivation to work.

  • There were a lot of networking events and intern parties that allowed us to form strong relationships.

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • There are happy-hours in the bars around here.

  • London. Full stop.

  • A 5k run, voluntary work in a local park, several parties and a lot of networking events.
