I enjoyed my placement a lot. It has provided me with a great overview of Finance.
Felt very valued by colleagues. Friendly team.
Had a one-to-one with my manager/supervisor on a weekly basis and this provided me the opportunity to get feedback and reiterate my strengths
Given a fair amount of work to do during the course of my internship. Mainly business as usual procedures which need to be carried out daily with some ad-hoc projects
I was given a fair amount of responsibility with great help and support provided by my team if I didn't understand anything
Microsoft Excel skills Product knowledge Time management Improving controls and eye for detail
The Company
The general atmosphere in the office is positive. Everybody is friendly and easy to speak to.
The internship was well organised with plenty of networking sessions, senior speaker sessions, information session on graduate scheme and induction that helps to get a better feel for the challenges on the job

The Culture
Fellow interns will go out near the start of the internship but go out less once work starts to get a bit more intense. However, most of the interns are generally sociable. The teams are also pretty sociable and go for drinks from time to time
