    About You

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?
  • It was very interesting, although only a few hours long they managed to give an overview of the firm - its structure, clients and international network alongside advice for application and recruitment

    4/5

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued during your time at the company or firm?
  • Given that this was an open day and we only spent a relatively short time at the firm - it was difficult to feel valued per say but they were very keen to answer questions and there were only a few of us

    3/5

  • 3. How much guidance/support did you receive during the insight?
  • Fantastic, they were very open about their operations and keen to answer your questions and give advice on any areas you queried on. This was a good chance to ask more questions about lifestyle.

    4/5

  • 4. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and information you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • We did have some form of skill sessions - but again given the short duration of time the firm was not so much focused in investing in us but presenting themselves as a firm which you would like to work in

    4/5

    The Company

  • 5. How well structured was the insight?
  • Very well structure - lots of activities packed into a short duration of time perhaps more time for networking with the trainees would have been appreciated, if allowed since time was relatively short.

    4/5

  • 6. How was the general atmosphere during your insight?
  • Enthusiastic, fun and enjoyable

    3/5

  • 7. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • They invested in us by treating us as future applicants for their firm hence they encouraged us to apply and gave us many tips in this regard - since it was an open day, it is not entirely correct to say they invested in us

    3/5

  • 8. To what extent did the insight help you to understand what it would be like to have a full time role with the company or firm?
  • even though it was only for a short period of time they tried to give us a glimpse of the everyday work they dealt with and the issues they fought through - networking with trainees also helped in this way

    4/5

  • 9. How much did the insight help you in understanding the company culture?
  • They emphasised on particular elements during the presentations and heavily focused on their commitment to their clients and quality of their work as well as the international focus they had

    4/5

  • 10. How valuable was the content in helping you to decide on your future career path?
  • Useful, in exploring whether this firm was for you in future applications and further in considering how competitive this field is and what considerations you may want to take into account further on - size

    4/5

    Everything Else

  • 11. Were you paid or reimbursed adequately for this experience?

  • 12. Were there opportunities for networking and meeting other employees of the company or firm?
  • Yes, we had a networking session but this was relatively short could have been longer given that lots of people had many questions to ask and this seemed like the best opportunity to ask them

    4/5

  • 13. How were the networking/ social event opportunities?
  • Informative but overly brief

    4/5

  • 14. Did you find out about activities that employees can get involved in outside of work?
  • pro bono, sports...

    3/5

  • 15. Would you recommend this insight to a friend?
  • Yes, any experience is useful and it is a great introduction into this firm if you are interested and want to find more about it

    3/5
