Yes. Soft skills such as communication, time keeping, problem solving and both independent and team work. Also Hard skills such as mathematics, Software development life cycle and industry specific knowledge.
Responsibilities
Yes, i was not treated as an industrial placement but treated and challenged as if i was a graduate employee. I was trusted to autonomously achieve my work and reach out for support when required and i delivered to that level.
Support & Guidance
If i needed support and asked for it, i would be supported as much as required. Additional support was offered even when it wasn't required however when asking for support, it was always there.
Culture
Very relaxed but focused. Work was done and that was important. The dress code was business casual but closer to casual leading to a very relaxed yet happy and productive work environment.
Your Impressions
It has been a great year. Plenty of varied work and responsibility with plenty of social opportunities with other placement 西瓜视频s as well as my wider team.
Yes
It's not as stressful and strict as you would expect as there is an underlying trust between all employees. Its a friendly environment where you can be yourself as long as you are doing the work. Show a passion for the role and ask questions, get involved and show willingness to learn and grow. That is what they value the most.
