    Overview

  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
  • This is dependant on placement area. BAE gives you the opportunity to rotate through three different placements - although this is an informal setup, and something you must align yourself, by contacting other teams etc. My first role was a project supervisor for the High Speed Wind Tunnels, and thus involved the management of testing there. My second role was a systems engineer for Fuel Systems, particularly looking at hardware integration. Finally, my third role, again was a systems engineer, this time working on Radar Systems.
