Overview
I mainly do engineering work with a small team, with my placement having alot of MATLAB but each one can vary, as some placements are awful and some are really good but you have to speak up and get changed as you could be reading documents all day looking for needle in hay stacks which I personally hate
Skills
MATLAB, GIT and Jira. Working in a team and office etticate
Responsibilities
Yes but you do have to push and keep asking as it you are passive you will get nothing
Support & Guidance
Got alot of support but you do have to ask
Culture
Very long and slow I never felt it was a fast paced environment or much urgency, but it my be from my previous experience in retail I have to compare it with
Your Impressions
It was awful at the start, nothing to do for like 4 months had to go high up the chain to move somewhere l, I would get work. But after pushing alot I finally got moved to somewhere with good work. Alot is how much your willing to put up with before your bored and lucky of the draw with the placement
No
Make sure you are asking for work and are proactive, and if you don't have anything make sure you say that and keep emails that you sent saying you don't have anything as often it takes a full report for something to happen
