Overview
There were a lot of informational networking sessions during the day-day tasks during the spring week. I contributed to a lot of presentations as well and work on a lot of case studies we developed useful skills like building presentation skills, communication skills, and also resilience as we had to work in such a short timeframe.
Skills
So I’ve developed my existing communication skills in terms of how to talk to different stakeholders and try to understand what your audience is and what their technical experience is because it’s very important to always tailor your communication styles to different audiences which can help present a very useful and informative presentation. I’ve really also developed my collaboration skills throughout the week because I had to collaborate with different stakeholders and also people from diverse educational backgrounds to conduct and also complete case studies.
Business Insight
It was very informative to learn about all the different departments of different programs. It was very informative especially during networking sessions, and also managing directors presentations, especially during networking sessions, we communicated with graduate program analysts who really give us insight into how the programs run and what it entails.
Culture
The campus culture was beautiful, especially the company culture. The general atmosphere was very friendly. I felt like I connected with all the analysts and also the recruiters as well. The general atmosphere was always a very open discussion atmosphere, where I felt like I can ask any question and gain insights into the company. I love the Bournemouth campus because the green spaces and the charitable causes were also shining throughout the week.
