Overview
Involves getting to know a lot of different people, and getting a good understanding of the bank. 10 intense weeks, there is plenty of work to do, however it depends a lot on the team you are in
Skills
Networking is key, and I would also say there is great room for improving social skills. Depending on roles, you may learn coding on different softwares as well.
Responsibilities
It is hard to have great impact in just 10 weeks; even though, I was involved in a big project, that allowed me to create sustainable impact.
Support & Guidance
A lot; most people are really open to chat and help you. That applies to assigned mentors or buddies, but also anyone else.
Culture
Company culture is most likely the main selling point for UBS. That is why a lot of people stick around for long periods of time.
Your Impressions
I liked it very much; the opportunities that follow it are endless, and there are a lot of places for you in the bank.
Yes
Come in with an open mind; even if you think you know which position or team suits you best, you will see how people try different things throughout their career, and the business really values diverse backgrounds.
