About You
The Spring Week at JP Morgan was a unique experience to get a first insight of the industry and to learn more about the company. I had a great time and enjoyed the group projects. The organisation of the week was very well done too.
I met people from different divisions within the bank who provided me with more information about their jobs. All of them were very friendly and kind, ready to give explanations when needed. They gave me valuable advice on how to build my career.
We had to complete a group project during the week. Our mentors - employees of JP Morgan - were very helpful and took the time to guide us during our research.
I gained great knowledge about financial markets and the different divisions of the firm. It helps me have a clearer view of the career I want to build. Besides, JP Morgan is a great example of how teamwork can lead to success.
The Company
The organisation of the spring week was well-balanced. We had presentations, followed by group exercises and networking sessions. We also had two half days of rotations between the teams and social events were organised for us. I really enjoyed all of it.
Amazing!
Not only did we have presentations on the divisions on markets, but we also had presentations on how to develop our communication skills. It was very useful and I now put into practice the advice we have been given.
The two rotations between the desks and the networking events helped me understand how it is to work at JP Morgan and in financial markets. It was very useful.
I really understood that teamwork is key at JP Morgan.
When I started the Spring Week, I did not know exactly was kind of job I was interested in. Having the opportunity to talk to employees and meet them at their desk was very helpful. I now have a clearer view of how I want to start my career.
Everything Else
Accomodation and travel expenses were paid by the firm.
We had lots of networking events and were always in contact with employees.
Great! It is a good way to learn more about people and their day-to-day work.
There are many activities organised by JP Morgan for its employees and we met a representative of the team in charge of organising them.
Definitely !
