About You
The program was very insightful and gave me a lot of knowledge and confidence moving forwards in my career.
We got the opportunity to meet many influential people who felt genuinely interested to interact with us. J.P.Morgan emphasises their culture, which does not seem surprising as everyone we met felt happy to be there.
We were encouraged to ask as many questions as we can and be curious. On top of that, we received training on the fundamentals of banking and different departments of J.P.Morgan to help us thoroughly understand the industry.
For me personally, as a history Î÷¹ÏÊÓƵ, the program gave me more motivation to pursue a career outside my field of study. We were constantly told how the degree doesn't define the field of work you end up in, which was evident at J.P.Morgan since many of the people we met had degrees outside economics.
The Company
It was structured very well with not much time to spare during the days.
Everyone seemed very curious about the industry and enthusiastic to learn more, which resulted in an enjoyable environment.
Through interacting with the actual employees we got a relatively honest insight into the daily life of a career in banking.
J.P.Morgan had specific departments come introduce their internship programs and what they do to help us try understand which departments we would be best suited for.
Everything Else
We had many networking events during the week with more junior and senior employees.
Fairly casual, which resulted in a safe environment to learn form the employees.
Absolutely, as it did specifically as was advertised, gave me lots of insight towards a potential career in banking.
