About You
The insight programme was great! Very relevant training and valuable insights. The people who attended were from all kinds of educational and ethnic backgrounds.
Everything was paid for, and we got time to network and interact with employees. As this was an insight programme with 50 Î÷¹ÏÊÓƵs, it felt like the whole group was catered to, rather than an individual. However, I believe that it was a good thing, as none of us had any prior relationship to the firm.
Clear schedule and great training provided!
As the training provided was very relevant to the financial industry, I believe that it will be very valuable for possible interviews and the tasks that I would face in a banking job.
The Company
Great structure! It was filled with presentations, networking etc. As this was a programme for non-finance backgrounds, J.P. Morgan made sure that we got a good view of what a finance job means.
From the firm's side, everything was great. They were very friendly and made sure that we had everything we needed and were satisfied.
We received a subscription to a financial newspaper and will be provided further training during summer.
I got to see some divisions that I didn't know much about prior to the week. Valuable job-shadowing as well, with a very friendly representative from my region.
Everyone talked a lot about the company culture. I got the impression that people tend to stay longer at this firm than other firms in the business.
I'm quite sure that I want to pursue a career in banking after this week.
Everything Else
No pay, but expenses for travel and housing was reimbursed. I didn't have to pay anything up front to be reimbursed at a later date, instead they helped us set everything up before the programme.
Yes! We also got to network with senior executives, as well as more junior employees.
Nice, most people were very friendly. Some didn't seem as interested in networking with us, but I guess that networking events don't suit everyone.
When I asked employees, I got answers. No activities mentioned during presentations etc. However, I find this question to be irrelevant, as activities outside of work isn't part of a job but rather a private matter.
Absolutely! Great experience.
