The Role
Very nice place to work for and be part of - whether it is the team or just the company itself, everyone is very welcoming and do take time to help us through the 10 weeks here.
Thanks to my previous experiences, I quickly find myself some task that could be helpful for the team and contribute in some way. They were all always willing to help me.
Managers are extremely busy but always find 5 min to chat. Supervisors are key and probably one of the best part of the internship. Co chair prepares you tons on exciting project to work on and take always the time to seat and give you feedback on weekly basis.
Extremely busy but for a reason - they did not ask me to stay late but I wanted to take the time to understand well the business and gave myself also some work to do.
It is difficult to take on responsibility as you cannot trade or talk to client (FCA rule) - however, you can always contribute to some extent and I felt that they sometimes gave me a lot of responsibilities when dealing with clients and manage lists.
Always - internships give you more than skills but help you to assess yourself.
The Company
Very good, welcoming
HR makes an amazing job at creating events, senior panel speakers, drinks, networking...
1 week and a half of training and online training throughout the internship - it is priceless.
Company Parties/Events
Extremely appealing as J.P. is growing and consolidating its leadership position.
The Culture
Friday drinks
Canary Wharf is extremely fun afterwork because everyone's looking for that moment of the day !
Yes but tried to build up relationships with colleagues.
