The Role
As a summer inter, my internship only last for ten weeks. However, I really feel as I am a real member of the company. My colleagues always take the time to answer my questions and to explain the different aspects of the company, their work or the work of their team.
During my internship, I had a manager who followed my work more generally in the intern program and a technical manager who followed my project very precisely. I felt a bit confused at the beginning of the internship between those two different managers but now I feel as it is a chance to be guide by two different people.
During my summer internship, I always had a task to do on a daily basis. We did some stand up every morning with the rest of my team, the scrum master and the product owner. I always knew what I had to and knew which person I had to ask for help when I had an issue.
I have to do a complete app with two other interns. I felt I had some responsibility .during my placement.
I enjoyed learning so much new skilled. This was a very good experience and I never felt bored during the internship. However, I think that many things that I learned do not correspond to what I am studying and what I would like to do during the rest of my career.
The Company
The general atmosphere in my office is really nice and friendly. Everybody is open to discussion.
