About You
I really enjoyed the 2017 Spring Week. It was perfect to understand the company's culture and to learn a lot from experienced employees.
J.P. Morgan's employees made me feel important, they really took care of us and we could clearly see that they wanted us to have a great time.
Everybody was really helpful and happy to explain us every single concept. During the rotations on the trading floor, Sales and Traders were really supportive. They definitely did their best to be sure that we could understand what they were doing.
I am really grateful that I have been exposed to different teams and products. It is obviously very important to work hard during your degree but I think there are concepts that you can fully understand only when you are exposed to them on the floor. I would say that my understanding of the markets was much better after the programme.
The Company
It was greatly planned and well balanced (presentations, team exercises, rotations, Q&A, social activities, networking). We got our timetable in the beginning of the week and did exactly what was planned. It was intense so come prepared.
The atmosphere was really nice and I was impressed with my peers. They were really smart people from many different universities and countries: hard workers, fun, always ready for an interesting conversation.
When we did not understand a concept, the team was happy to help us. I had the feeling that it gave me a solid foundation to start interning in finance. There was an important investment in my personal training and development.
I had the opportunity to interact with junior and senior bankers and ask them many questions about their jobs. They shared a lot with us.
I could not have been more exposed to the firm's culture: excellence and respect.
The various stories from experienced employees gave me a clear idea of what the future could hold for me at J.P. Morgan. I know exactly what I would like to do there now.
Everything Else
My train and tube tickets were paid. The hotel was booked and paid for us. A lot of food was provided.
There were great opportunities for networking with people from many different teams during all the week.
Really nice, it was amazing to be able to enjoy an evening out of the office with my peers and to meet seniors for lunch.
Most of the employees that I met were happy to tell me more about their lives outside of work.
Yes obviously, I am already in touch with several people to help them applying.
