About You
The insight was insightful and informative. It was only three days which meant our days were jam packed full of information which I found to be useful and engaging.
I felt completely valued as I was able to network with the likes of seniors of the firms with panel sessions, networking lunches etc.
The campus recruitment team were on hand to answer any questions we had about the spring week, the roles, internship and grad roles. Additionally, we received key tips and tricks in trying to succeed with applications and assessment centre.
I have learned a lot about what it takes to be successful in assessment centre as we had a mock assessment centre so I now know what to expect.
The Company
We received a schedule on Day 1 of our program. It was structured nicely with activities everyday which varied.
I really enjoyed my time. The culture at the firm is the best, everyone is open to talk to you and are willing to help you succeed. The Î÷¹ÏÊÓƵs also had the same mindset as I did which was encouraging.
The company was willing to help us better ourselves in terms of soft skills
I had a taster of what it's like to have a full time role as I was able to shadow graduates and Î÷¹ÏÊÓƵs who were on placement.
I understood the company culture very well as they kept reminding us of it, because each and every person was so passionate about the culture and its one of the reasons attracting them to the firm.
I have a rough idea of what I would like to do as I was given vital information in helping me do so
Everything Else
I was reimbursed for my train fares and was put up in accommodation for the days I was there.
We had many opportunities as we had a speed networking event with many employees, panel sessions, lunches etc
We had many opportunities over the course of the week interacting with Î÷¹ÏÊÓƵs, graduates and even seniors in the company.
Yes, the company have many BRGs which encourages you to go outside of the workplace and give back to the community or even carry out hobbies you enjoy.
I would indeed if you are interested in finding out more about banking within operations, and not just investment banking!
