About You
The insight was really great as it was informative and let me know what the actual work is like.
There were a lot of opportunities for participants to show their own ideas.
Everyone was willing to offer help and explain things for us.
There were many training sessions to help us with presenting and networking skills. The opportunity to practice afterward was also amazing.
The Company
The programmed was structured in a very logical way. On the first day, we were able to walk around the building and do work shadowing. Later on, we listened to senior members and got to know more details about the company.
I didn't feel any pressure during the insight and gained friendship through it.
There were several training sessions on each day and were all tailored for beginners like us. My skill of making effective communication has been improved massively.
Since we really got to talk with employees we had the chance to listen to personal feedback from them. It was quite helpful as it complemented what is shown on the firm's website.
Very well. Almost everyone I talked to emphasized on the flat structure and the culture of meritocracy that differs JP Morgan from other investment banks.
Before the Spring week I know little about the industry. Having the opportunity to experience the work and life inside the building make me realise how much I am interested in the job.
Everything Else
The firm was quite generous and the reason I was not reimbursed was only because I didn't claim expenses.
Yes, there were many and I really feel that networking is a very important part of the business.
They were great as you don't normally have the opportunity to talk to senior people with more than ten years of working experience.
Sports is quite an example and the firm actually encouraged it.
Certainly yes.
