About You
The teams you engage with and the training's you engage in are incredibly varied, allowing for both a broader insight and a more enjoyably experience.
With a class size of just twenty-two, and regular social events it did not take long before our small cohort became a tight bunch.
Considering the small tenure of spring-weeks the support and guidance we received during the time constraints was both relevant and personalized.
With a group presentation at the end of the week, it was crucial to utilize a number of skills will we will undoubtedly use during our studies, including, -Working in a team -Presenting new ideas -Working within time constraints -Adapting communication styles
The Company
Very well structured. With only five days within the firm it was key that our time was used most effectively and it mot certainly was. Barely a minute was wasted over the entire week.
Due to variation of activities and friendliness of staff and co-interns, the week had an incredibly good 'atmosphere' about it. A combination of both an open environment and professional etiquette made for both a fun and valuable week.
We received several training sessions and multiple workshops to both increase our k knowledge of the financial world and improve our soft skills.
Although the insight was most defiantly thorough, it did seem to be somewhat more intensive in demonstrating Wealth Management over Asset Management.
With only five days in the firm it is difficult to understand the true etiquette and ethos of a company, However it most defiantly highlighted its most important part of its culture as teamwork.
Again, although the insight was most defiantly thorough, it did seem to be somewhat more intensive in demonstrating Wealth Management over Asset Management. Which may have led to some degree of bias in division selection.
Everything Else
There were many opportunities to meet employees, be it lunch events or by shadowing teams for the day.
Good environment, friendly analysts/associates and good exposure to very senior management.
Some reference to activities available outside work, however this was only found out through active questioning.
Yes, if their interest is specifically Asset and Wealth Management or just finance in general, I would most defiantly recommend the week.
