The Role
To a large extent. It gave me a broad level of exposure to different lines of services available. It helped me think about what I would enjoy.
It was hard to get given challenging tasks as the internship program wasn't long enough to include complete training. But we did get adequate training to perform some of the tasks and I felt that was a good start. My colleagues did manage to use my help.
Amazing support, they were always willing to help. Both my people manager and team manager were looking out for my development.
Adequately busy. Almost never had too long days. And on most weeks had enough work to stay busy for the entire week.
It varied from task to task. Sometimes however, I was given client facing roles that required me to have a fair bit of understanding and take on responsibility.
Definitely to a large extent. I obviously learnt a lot about professional life. I also picked up some skills and knowledge on the kind of work I was doing and on how to interact with clients.
The Company
Very friendly. Most people were really helpful if I ever needed any guidence. There were a fair number of social events at work and outside work too, that helped me get to know more people.
It was pretty well organised. They thought about many aspects including our training, social activities, exposure to different lines of service and overall development. However I felt that 6 weeks was a bit too short to get into doing a lot of the real work.
I believe they did a lot given we were only going to be there for six weeks. We had one week of training in the beginning and other online modules to take up over the next 5 weeks.

I really enjoyed the kind of people I was working with and the attitude of the management. I wasn't sure of the line of service that I started with, but I have a better understanding now and will be able to take a better decision. Regardless, I really would like to work at a firm like this!
The Culture
Yes definitely. Our intern intake did organise events for ourselves. Most were withing our office. However we also had some events that was organised by the firm for interns across the country.
I worked in central London. Nothing unexpected. It is an expensive city.
Pretty great. All kinds of pubs and bars. There are clubs too for those who'd be interested.
To a certain extent yes. But I feel like the internship was too short to give us enough time to even want to engage in activities outside work.
