  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • The internship was very well organised and well structured. From the opening inductions to the projects on site, it was clear that a lot of time went into ensuring that we could have the best possible experience on this internship. I feel I have developed significantly throughout this internship.

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?
  • As soon as I began my first project, there was already a set of tasks listed that I would be responsible for throughout my internship. Therefore, I felt like I had an important contribution to make to the team. My colleagues were also happy to coach me with any queries and my contribution was acknowledged by my team.

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • My supervisor was always happy to explain any accounting concepts that I struggled on our explain any queries that I had regarding my work. They ensured that I had been coached well before I undertook any task which made me feel more confident.

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • I was quite busy as there was quite a lot of tasks to do so there were not many times where I didn't have work.

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • I was given the same level of responsibility as a new graduate. I was told by my team that new graduates would also begin by doing the same work that I was currently doing.

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • The training was very beneficial as it provided us with a basically understanding of Audit and ensured that we did not begin on our projects completely clueless. The skills I have developed will help me for life as I have improved my ability to network and my confidence has increased as as a result of the training

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • My office has a great atmosphere and it was obvious that everyone got on well. I always felt comfortable in the office and there were many people who were friendly and approachable.

  • 8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?
  • The internship team put a lot of work in setting this up and it was well organised. As well as the inductions out of town and in the office, there were also an entreprenurial competition set up amongst interns which was very interesting!

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • There was a big investment in us. Considering we were only here for a short time, PwC spent a lot of effort and time to train us and ensure that we had a great time during this internship.

  • I hope to be offered a graduate role and will find out soon!

    The Culture

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement 西瓜视频s/colleagues?
  • The main social scene is with your project team and the interns in your office. We organised a few meet ups but a lot of people were in different parts of the country so it was not easy.

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • Usual London cost so quite expensive!

  • London nightlife so there is plenty to do. There were also many places to eat and go for meals with your team or other interns.

  • 15. Were there many opportunities to get involved in activities outside of work?
  • There were opportunities to get involved in activities in the office. The social team is always up for hearing a new ideas that you have but it depends on how often you were based in the office.
