The Role
I really enjoyed the people and the general atmosphere in the office. Everyone made a real effort to make my time enjoyable.
They tried hard to give me work and help me understand the work I was given so I would find it more interesting.
I was assigned a buddy and a people manager, so lots of support if I were to have any problems which I haven't so far.
I arrived at a busy time for my department so I had plenty to do. People made an effort to find me work to make sure I wasn't ever bored.
I wasn't given anything too technical or complicated to do so not much but that's more to do with the nature of the work in my department rather than a criticism of the placement.
It gave me a really good insight into what the graduate scheme would be and a really good insight into what working in the corporate world would be like.
The Company
Very happy, fun place to work with lots of social events to help you build relationships with your teams!
Very well organised. Because lots of people have done it before, there is an established programme that you follow.
There was a whole week of inductions so lots and lots od training and development!
Subsidised Canteen
Company Parties/Events
Working from home
The chances of you getting offered a graduate scheme from the internship are very high.
The Culture
Yes, lots of socials.
Very expensive because I was in London, but they have offices all over the country so you can choose one that suits you better.
I didn't really explore the nightlfe too much.
Lots of sports socials.
