The Role
I really enjoyed my internship. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Any question that was asked wasn't a burden and they were happy to help! The office was incredible with an amazing view.
My colleagues never seemed to give me dull work that I wouldn't enjoy. They always valued my work and helped me see where I went wrong and where I did well.
The management and supervisors were incredibly friendly and helpful. Any question I had was answered promtly and with full detail. The system PwC have in place is incredible for helping new employees.
I was busy every day with loads of things to do. Not too much work that it was keeping me past 6 o'clock but not too little that I was bored most of my day. I had tasks that would generally last me the week so I didnt have to rush or feel pressured.
I was given a surprising amount of responsibility with clients. Even though there was a lot of responsibility, everything got reviewed by my colleagues so there was no pressure on messing up.
The time management I have gained from the internship will help a lot over my final year at university.
The Company
The atmosphere was busy but relaxed. Everyone was busy and working but friendly and chilled out. As long as you are getting your work done you are allowed to enjoy yourself and get unlimited cups of hot drinks!
PwC is a massive firm that rely on the interns and graduates to be the managers of the future. This means that there is a lot of time and money invested in developing the interns and graduates properly. Over the course of the internship we had an induction week where we could socialise and network as well as learn the basics of accountancy and PwC as a firm.
The company invested a lot of money and effort into the interns. Supplying us with laptops and training, this really helped us when it came to producing good quality work.

Hopefully I will recieve a Graduate offer and be able to work with PwC in the future!
The Culture
All the interns who were working in the office joined up for evening drinks on a Friday. The social scene in London was buzzing and really enjoyable.
We were working in London, so the cost was natrually going to be higher than other places. We earned a little more money so this evened out.
The nightlife in London was always buzzing. If you want something to do or an interesting place to see London is one of the best places for it!
There were not that many sporting activities because the office was rather large and we were only in the office for 6 weeks. Hopefully there will be more chances after graduation!
