The Role
Overall, I am enjoying it very much. Especially as we entered the internship in a one huge cohort, so we got to meet other interns from across the country as well, not just those in our office. (We spent the first three days at a countryside hotel having socials and trainings; all expenses paid for).
I feel very much valued. I was put on a client site/work the very first day (after a week of training/induction). Furthermore all the Senior Associates/Managers I have come in contact with were generally very caring and genuinely want me to suceed in my role.
Obviously, coming from a non-accounting background, there are a lot of things I don't know. However, so far, the Senior Associate in my team has been really good at explaining things and answering my questions.
Very busy when working at client site. Hours could be as long as 8:30am-6:30pm (though the interns based in the office have shorter hours)
As mentioned above, I - and many other interns - was put on a client site on the first day of work. So I would consider that a fairly high amount of responsibility for an intern.
Too early to tell. The most useful technical skills I have gained so far is Excel
The Company
Client site was friendly.
Generally organised. However, I have been tasked on core assurance work, even though I am supposed to be a IT Risk Assurance intern (they are sorting it out now as I type this).
A lot. The whole of the first week was dedicated to trainings and induction. So this works out to 1/6 of my internship time.

Very appealing. PwC definitely seems like a great company to start a career in.
The Culture
YES! Fellow interns keep making plans to have nights out, even though we are all (mostly) not working in the same teams/don't see each other everyday.
High
Good. It's Central London.
None so far, though some interns have gone out for drinks with their teams etc.
