The Role
I have significantly enjoyed working in my summer internship, the company provides a programme that allows us as interns to get a strong insight of what the company does and how they do business. I've been participating in a project where i get exposure to the client,I found this fascinating as I am carrying out on-the-job learning. Moreover I have received lots of support from part of the PwC team. All this leading to my self-development, and feeling I am actually creating a positive impact with the work I am completing.
I feel very valued. Team dynamics and spirit has been very important during our project. At work my colleagues are constantly guiding me and giving me advice about how to interact with the client and how to create work at the quality of PwC. Socials are also an important aspect as they help create bonds within the team.
I have been given lots of support which has contirbuted to my self-development and my understanding of the company. I find it great that we have a buddy and a people manager, and then project supervisor as you receive support and guidance from different levels and different perspectives allowing you to grow more.
The workload has been high, especially when working in the client site, there is constant work to do. I feel I am always learning and given the chance to develop and strengthen certain skills.
I was given lots of responsabilities, which I enjoyed very much as you are actually able to give your own insight and collaborate to make a greater impact.
It has helped me a lot because I was able to apply the skilss I learnt to a real context, moreover I have gain valuable insight of how businesses run and how they work
The Company
Its a very positive atmosphere, the environment in the office is energetic and very people-orientated. The social contribute significantly in making a great atmoshphere to work in,as they create team dynamics.
Very organised, i feel that the whole programme is very well structured, you know what is the process since the begin and you are constantly guided through it, as well as receive feedback of your progress. However because consulting is project-based the organisation depends on the projects available, so in terms of what project you will work in and what you are going to do took a week to get it running,
I think PwC invests a lot in their interns and their employees. From day 1 you feel valued, and you can see how much resources they are investing for your development.

The Culture
Yes socials are a great part, and they stress the importance of building good team dynamics.
Cost of living was good, socialising however was challenging as its a new city, and you don't know other people outside work
Lots of opportunities, the city is very vibrant and there are lots of things to do around
