The Role
Working at PwC was an amazing learning experience, providing insight into the world of tax, especially as I was part of a really helpful and flexible team.
Even though we were present for only six weeks, but we were not restricted from attending any meetings or participate in any task, even joining the summer party!!
Everyone in our team was very approachable and welcomed any queries. the fact that we were assigned a peoples manager and a buddy especially helped a lot as innitially when you're new you tend to avoid approaching your colleagues for trivial issues and the buddy proved really helpful in this situation, while the people manager was able to give a clear direction to our internship.
I was Busy every single day of the internship and there was always some task to do at hand. Just before finishing with a task I would just ask for another one before hand and would have one assigned immediately.
I was able to work on live client projects, attend weekly meetings and ongoing trainings as well as shadaow a client call and follow up on it and thus I would say you get a considerable amount of responsibility considering you're still an intern.
As I am an engineering 西瓜视频, my degree is in no way related to Tax and hence its a pity that the training I recieved would not be able to asisst me in my studies altough it would help me immensely if I was to join the firm upon getting an offer, which I would love to do!
The Company
Office atmosphere was quite welcoming and generally very professional while the people were very polite and helpful among eachother.
I was quite impressed by how well the internship was structured with a whole week dedicated for induction and then the fact that we laid out our aims and objectives in the beggning, concentrating more on areas we had focused on in our aims and objectives, through continous feedback.
PwC does not compromise in investing on its employees and this may be evident by the fact that we were provided with a three day residential induction funded by the company right at the start of our internship, while through out our time at the firm we were able to utilise all facilities that are provided to the regular employees, in some casses having even more benefits such as a better laptop model.

Staff Sales/Staff Shop
I would love to Join this firm especially as a part of the team I worked with as I treally enjoyed my time with this firm and made the most of it.
The Culture
We met up with each other quite frequently during lunchtime in the office as well as in events organized by the firm.
I lived at kings cross in a 西瓜视频 accommadation and although it was expensinve but was manageable as my internship covered my cost of living for the six weeks.
The night life at More London isn't as amazing probably because its more of a commercial area with loads of offices.
Right from the start of the internship we were introduced to different activities such as the Dragons Den where different teams were asked to provide ideas on improvement of the NHS while successful ideas were processed further.
