The Role
I thoroughly enjoyed this internship experience. My expectations were by far exceeded.
I felt highly valued by my employees. From day 1, I was treated like a full time employee of PwC. Moreover, the seniors in the office were very approachable and there were many opportunities to work with the Directors and Partners of the team.
The support and guidance provided by my managers and supervisors was excellent. All my queries and concerns were heard out and taken care off as soon as possible. Furthermore, my managers would make sure that I got to experience the opportunities that I was interested in.
There was a perfect balance in my day. I would be relatively busy with a variety of work, ranging from client calls/meetings and work on the desk. I was rarely in a position where I was sitting around with nothing to do, or in a position where I had too much work.
I was given a good level of responsibility. The majority of my work contributed towards a client and was valued by my colleagues.
The skills I have developed throughout this internship will be of great use for my professional career. I feel that my interpersonal skills have significantly improved, and my excel modelling skills have enhanced. I will be able to carry these attributes into my career in the near future.
The Company
The office culture was very positive. The team was very friendly and was always willing to help and answer any questions.
The work placement was organised in excellent fashion. The Internship started with a three-day residential training programme which was highly useful prior to starting.
The firm heavily invested their time and money into my personal training and development. As mentioned previously, the internship started with a highly beneficial three-day training programme. Throughout the internship, there were many opportunities for interns to build on their existing skills.

The employment prospects at PwC are highly appealing. I wish to join the firm following graduation.
The Culture
The other interns were great people to hang out with at lunch or after work. There were many instances where a group of us interns would meet up after work or the weekends to catch up over a few drinks.
London - it wasn't cheap. Having said that, the firm paid a generous amount to the interns. Despite the city being an expensive place with regards to the cost of living, I still had money saved up following the internship.
London is full of great bars and clubs, there is always something to do for everyone, I was never bored!
There were many opportunities to get involved in activities outside of work. During the summer, there were many events around the city, some of which I attended.
