The Role
I enjoyed it a lot, there was plenty of opportunity to get stuck into different projects while meeting a lot of new people.
Very valued. Everyone was really nice and was able to get the best out of you.
My manager/ 'buddy' were very approachable. Any questions I had, I felt I could easily go up to them and ask.
For most of the time, I was quite busy with projects. However epecially in the first few days and last week or so, the amount of work I had to do did die down a lot. There is also only so many times you can ask people if there is any work you can do for them as well so at times I was wondering what next to do.
A whole project was very dependent on me as I had been given a 50-50 split with another intern.
It has given me a good insight into what working life will be like. However, there is only so much you can do as an intern.
The Company
Very friendly, relaxed, great atmosphere.
It was set up for you to go and explore what the office has for you. Very good for you to go and network and make good contacts. Very well organised as well.
Provide us with interesting videos every week to watch and help our development
Flexi Time
Subsidised Canteen
Financial Bonus
Company Parties/Events
Travel loan
Very appealing. PwC would be a great firm to work for.
The Culture
Yes, summer parties, drinks after work etc.
Central London so obviously very expensive.
Good nightlife scene
Although there are some sports teams, everyone I asked didn't seem to know anything about a football team.
