The Role
I found the internship to be very enjoyable with everyone I met being friendly and welcoming. The work I was doing was helpding to contribute towards the final projects and I always had something that I could do.
The people at PwC are very welcoming and friendly. They were always happy to answer any questions that I had and we often met up for social events during my time there.
Management and supervisors were always willing to help whenever I needed it. I had not studied accounting prior to the internship however supervisors were very supportive and always explained everything clearly.
I ususally had something to do during my projects when there wasnt anything for me to do I always had other projects that I could work on as apart of my internship.
You were given responsibility over the tasks you were given and often got to ask client questions by yourself. However due to the complex nature of the projects there was only so much responsibility you could be given.
I developed a basic knowledge of key accounting concepts which I can then use to further my undertsanding of business in the future. I also gained a grasp of audit procedures and what it is like to work for a big four firm.
