    The Role

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • The placement was enjoyable in that the office is a nice place to be and everyone was friendly and helpful. Furthermore, many of the tasks I completed where engaging and interesting.

  • I felt valued in the sense that everyone was very friendly to me and I had a lot of conversations with a lot of interesting people.

  • There was always someone who I could get hold of if I had a question.

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • I often didn't find myself that busy and some days I had very little to do at all.

  • When I did get work, the jobs I was given had a real purpose within the project I was on.

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • The skills I developed in talking to lots of new people and networking have been extremely useful, this is something PwC really emphasised. We also recieved useful training on interview tips and feedback sharing etc, which has been useful

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • Everyone worked very hard and concentrated on what they were doing, but when you did interact with people they were always very friendly.

  • Very well organised and professional.

  • There were loads of opportunities for training, whether through videos, training courses, webex learning. I always had something I could be learning about.

  • It seems like a really good place to work, and people here generally really enjoy their jobs.

    The Culture

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement 西瓜视频s/colleagues?
  • Although I got on with the other interns in my department we didnt socialise outside getting lunch together and there didn't seem to be much going on amongst other colleagues - at least not that we were invited to.

  • Central London prices.

  • Central London - so good, although there wasn't anything organised with interns/colleagues

  • I was invited to a team dinner, but apart from that there wasn't anything.
