The Role
I really enjoyed it, it was a really insight into the day to day job as well as packed with interesting meetings and socials.
I felt much more valued by my colleagues than I anticipated, they would thank me for my help rather than feel they were helping me out.
There was so much support from so many different people. From my people manager, buddy, tutors and all my team leaders.
I was very busy but I really liked it, I would possibly have rather been a little less busy and have time to take everything in and complete my objectives etc in a decent amount of time.
I was given a really good amount of responsibility but able to ask for help whenever I needed it, perfect!
They will definitely inform me with regards to career decisions, I now understand what I am good at and what I enjoy. They will also help me with my data management in the experimental side of my degree.
The Company
Really friendly, and quite busy but also still relaxed and chatty.
Extremeley well organised, I experienced such a wide range of jobs as well as having time to chat to social secs and hear about the sports teams and community projects. Everything ran so smoothly!
The spend a week with us simply training and allowed for hours each day to train and do our own research. They also let us on very busy client teams, potentially slowing the team down but definitely enriching our development. And they paid us pretty well too which was probably a worth while investment.
Financial Bonus
Company Parties/Events
Extremeley appealing! Almost all the interns want to join as graduates.
The Culture
Yes definitely, a great social scene also up the chain so we would mingle with managers and senior managers too!
Expensive but the company paid for some things and there wasn't any pressure to spend beyond your means.
Great!
Yes, they had a sports day where we could be a part of competing teams, and socials outside of work too.
