The Role
I have enjoyed my internship so far, and I hope that it will continue to be enjoyable.
I've been welcomed by almost everyone in the office, and they almost always have time for me, it's great.
Regular meetings and support from my People Manager and Porject Managers.
Not as busy as I expected, but not lacking in work either. And when I had nothign to do for the project, there was always online training to do.
So far I have been given little responsibility but I plan to get more involved in the coming weeks. I am doing actual work for the project too, which is good.
Not directly relevant to my degree, but soft skills will be useful for my whole career I expect.
The Company
Very pleasant, very friendly.
Very well organised and set up. 3 days of training to start with, and then support in the work place.
They invested a lot in us, and were very generous with the residential training.
National Travel
Exceptional. The conversion rate is apparently above 90%, and progression is quick.
The Culture
Yes definitely, especially at the training induction.
Fine, not especially cheap or expensive.
Pretty good
A little, hopefully more in the coming weeks.
