The Role
I enjoyed flexibility and the opportunity to be creative within the Strategy & Economics competency.
My work was greatly appreciated by managers and I received glowing feedback/moderation
Regular catch-ups with people managers
Depending on deadlines, I could be extremely busy one week to not very busy at all the next week. This depended on workstreams however, not because I was a placement 西瓜视频.
Left to work independently fairly often and given responsibilities for deadlines.
Very little training, but experience in real world situations using economic principles will definitely help with degree studies.
The Company
Pleasant, people are approachable and usually accommodating, including senior grades.
Everything before and at the point of joining is great and well organised. Upon joining you are thrown into your team and expected to figure it out yourself, which to be honest is the best way of getting experience.
Very little training.

The Culture
People seemed to be generally sociable within small groups but not across the entire placement cohort in our regional office.
Belfast is relatively cheap to live in.
Relatively busy yuppie nightlife scene, with pockets of underground niche nights. Belfast closing hours are a hindrance however.
As I live in the area this was not applicable.
