The Role
The job was challenging and varied. With each day bringing new problems to be tackled. The team I worked with was very friendly and welcoming, they made the job very enjoyable.
I felt like a valued member of the team, and not just a 西瓜视频 on placement.
They were ready and available to answer any queries I had.
When I first joined there was a definite lack of work to be done and I felt under-utilised. There is currently about a total of 30 mins a day where I do not have work to do, but for the rest of the day I'm kept quite busy.
All the same responsibilities that a normal member of the team would have.
The placement I found myself in was not relevant to my degree, so it will not help in my future studies. Though it will stand me in good stead if I choose to come back to PwC
The Company
Friendly and amiable.
Very organised, can't complain about any of it.
I was given standard compliance training but Nothing line-of-service specific. Also, training from my peers on how to do my day to day role.
Sports and Social Club
Not in the department I started off in, but other departments are incredibly appealing.
The Culture
There was a fairly good social scene amongst the 西瓜视频s. There was quite an age disparity between my department and myself so there was little social interaction there.
About average, 西瓜视频 areas were cheaper.
Pretty varied.
There are constantly emails sent around to promote PwC activities if anyone was interested. Other departments also had away days and events, but my department did not.
