The Role
It was a great experience, getting to do practical work relating to my degree. Working for this Company has been a highlight of my life.
I did feel valued and I did work that really mattered and this has been a very good placement. I was involved in spares procurement and I had various meetings with managers form different companies and some within National Grid.
everyone at national Grid is happy and very helpful. My manager looked at and resolved all the problems fast and made sure we had all the information we needed.
I was very busy as I had meetings to organise and attend, I also had my work to do, I feel time just disappeared during my placement. I did 8 weeks but it felt short as I was busy doing the job I love and enjoy
we were responsible for XLPE cable and spares procurement, this meant a lot of responsibility. Having meetings with senior managers shows how much trust and responsibility was placed in our hands.
being an electrical engineering 西瓜视频 I learnt a lot about 3phase systems ,Corona discharge and a lot other topics that will help me in my degree
The Company
everyone was happy and very helpful, great place to work i miss it already.
everything was set up before we arrived and I had my Manager and Buddy call me before I started, telling me what I was going to be doing and what they expected of me.
it was a short placement so i did a bit of software training.
