Overview
Taking responsibility with customers who are onboarding, look after vulnerability scans of the systems. Supporting the team members who have excess work and ensuring the team runs smoothly. Taking minutes and noting actions at meetings.
Skills
Yes, I have learnt and developed many skills. Mainly how to work in a corporates environment, then there have been technical skills that have been developed. Communication and presentation skills I have also worked on.
Responsibilities
I was given responsibility over a handful of projects, however I would have liked more responsibility and would feel like I deserved more responsibility
Support & Guidance
There was plenty of support provided. Ranging from mentoring sessions, check in with the IPs and support from the early careers team
Culture
The company atmosphere was great, everyone you meet is always happy to help and when speaking to colleagues about their experience they will also cite National Grid as the best place they have worked

I really enjoyed the placement, and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a placement. It has taught me a lot about my self and helped develop skills and helped me shape what I want going forward in my career
