The Role
Over exceeded my expectations by miles! Couldn't of asked for a better year!
I never felt like a business placement 西瓜视频 and always like a graduate joining.
There is a fantastic support group consisting of managers, your own people manager, a 'buddy' who has been in your position already and many more. They made me feel comfortable to ask anything when I needed to even if it seemed simple!
The role is not for someone wanting an easy year! It is a challenging year with opportunities to get real experiences in many different businesses. Howevere, they value a social life as well and create a great balance for you to be able to still do the things you enjoy. They also give even more opportunities for social events within the company.
Responsibility is given to you from the get go allowing you to progress massively by the end of the year.
I have learnt an array of new skills that will definitely support me in my final year of university and onwards.
The Company
Always friendly atmosphere at all times with a lot of hard work and fun as well.
Ideal placement programme for you to keep busy and know exactly what you will be doing throughout the year.
Substantial amount of training was given to me to progress in the year including the start of the ACA qualifications to become a chartered accountant. Due to this, I am 3 exams away from being part qualified with one of the most renowned qualifications worldwide for all employers.

Extremely happy and proud to say I will be returning to PwC after graduating!
The Culture
As I was in a smaller office than London I was the only placement 西瓜视频 which made me slightly nervous, however, you are treated exactly the same as a graduate so made no difference. Interaction with other placement 西瓜视频s from other offices started at the end of the placement which was good. From feedback given by us, they will change this so there is a better network between all placement 西瓜视频s from this year onwards.
London is never cheap! However, the great salary they offer allows you to be able to afford the essentials and anything extra you want!
London has a great nightlife with all different tastes catered for.
Extreme amount of sports, trips away, charity work etc. was offered and easy to get involved in.
