    The Role

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • The Academy was in an external venue, creating a relaxed atmosphere. It was a great chance to get to know all there is about PwC and potential careers. The staff and 西瓜视频s were all easy to get on with and made for a really enjoyable time

    5/5

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?
  • It was very easy to get on with all staff and 西瓜视频s at the Academy and by the end of the three days there had been plenty of opportunities to build a relationship with all.

    5/5

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • The PwC staff were excellent, both in terms of answering all questions about the company and potential careers, and also in creating a relaxed and positive atmosphere to all tasks over the three days

    5/5

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • The 3 days were extremely busy and condensed, however, as most of the activities were based around team working and getting to know others at the Academy, it didn't feel as though time was dragging

    4/5

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • As placement was based around skills sessions and was held in an external venue, there was no real responsibility that could be given. Our views and ways of working were, however, well respected.

    3/5

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • Great experience to hear more about PwC and to give some direction as to the possible careers that can be gained from a university degree.

    5/5

    The Company

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • The Academy was held in a hotel for the three days so we didn't see the offices. We did meet office representatives who portrayed a great working environment

    4/5

  • 8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?
  • From the first morning, there was a clear itinerary. This was well structured and made the three days run smoothly

    5/5

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • The firm were keen to include us and offer every opportunity possible. They created ambitious, but realistic, options to pursue beyond the Academy

    5/5

  • 10. What were the perks on your work placement?
  • National Travel

    Company Parties/Events

    4/5

  • 11. How appealing are future employment prospects within the organisation?
  • Everyone is contacted by the firm after the Academy and has a realistic chance of an internship.

    5/5

    The Culture

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement 西瓜视频s/colleagues?
  • The activities were ideal for building relationships quickly and the evening events helped to build on this.

    5/5

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • Not really relevant as the three days were fully residential

    5/5

  • 14. What was the Nightlife like in the area you worked?
  • Again, not relevant apart from evening events within the venue, which were good

    3/5

  • 15. Were there many opportunities to get involved in activities outside of work?
  • All colleagues portrayed an image of a good social life within the company with a mixture of activities organised by PwC and events organised by colleagues

    5/5
