Standard day-to-day process of chasing teams to record finance actuals, completing ad-hoc requests, analysing spend data, supporting the capital manager
Skills
developed my powerbi, excel, problem solving, analysis skills.
Responsibilities
Given a reasonable amount of responsibility to publish the weekly, monthly, and quarterly financial capital spend status to directors and VPs of the business.
Support & Guidance
After the 2-month handover period was completed, there was limted support and guidance throughout my placement year. It was self-guided but this wasn't a benefit and ended up being a limitation of my placement year.
Culture
The company culture and atmosphere was good with all employees being friendly and happy to help, lots of volunteering and events to get involved with
Your Impressions
