Skills
Both - The year has provided a way to hone existing skills and broaden horizons into other areas outside of the academic setting. This also actively contributes towards chartership as the placement is accredited through the university in accordance with the IET competencies.
Responsibilities
The environment is clearly a different working dynamic to university, less 西瓜视频 and lecturer and more peer-to-peer, yet this has suited well for an exchange of knowledge and expertise forming the basis of a career as a professional engineer. Responsibilities were suitably delegated, allowing for both group work and for individual-lead.
Support & Guidance
The level of support provided on the placement is superb - both technical and pastoral.
Culture
A fantastic environment for professional growth, yet also a delightfully welcoming and friendly workplace.
Your Impressions
The placement has been nothing short of thoroughly enjoyed.
Yes
Be authentic - it is highly valued and will lead to a far better outcome as a member of the team.
