Overview
This placement involved refining crude data to show a story and then picking out the important conclusions. This would then be passed on to stake holders to often determine HR policy.
Skills
I have learned plenty of new skills such as two programming languages, mastered power query and became highly experienced in Excel and Power BI.
Responsibilities
I was given plenty of responsibility. Monthly reports that we had to send out with the most accuracy were entirely my department. I also lead a lot of development especially on the back end to automate processes and increase self serving.
Support & Guidance
My manager provided me with a lot of help in a way that really let me grow and develop my own skills myself. He was always available and backed me up if anything went wrong.
Culture
Very comfortable company atmosphere. Rather modern and relaxed with very pleasant and nice people.
Your Impressions
I very much enjoyed the placement and loved working with the people I worked with.
Yes
If you are going to the interview, I'd recommend relaxing. Most people at the company are very friendly and would appreciate you.
