Overview
Learnt about a career in tax and audit from experienced professionals at Deloitte. And completed a real life small case study exploring a situation where we advised a struggling company on steps they should take. Had several networking events and was allocated in a group we spent a long amount of time with over the two days.
Skills
Learnt a lot in regards to technical skills in tax and audit. Also found it very interesting learning from others from such different backgrounds, as well as attending the networking events and interacting with others. I really think my networking skills were enhanced. Furthermore, think the presentation was really valuable and developed my confidence and skills in that aspect.
Business Insight
Very interesting. A new sector/career for myself I knew very little about so was brilliant to hear about it all. Also found it very interesting hearing from the direct employees who shared their experience in this sector as well as Deloitte as a firm overall.
Culture
Very inclusive and friendly. Really promoted people to be themselves and inclusive and I thought this was a brilliant atmosphere and environment.
