The Role
Really enjoyable - lots of flexibility to work in areas that you are most interested in/want to find out about.
Really well looked after and well respected. Colleagues understood that we would need a lot of guidance and made us feel comfortable.
Everyone is allocated a people manager as well as buddy, therefore providing a lot of support.
Given a sufficient amount of work and responsibility. Some days were more challenging than others, and therefore took longer.
Same amount of responsibility as associates. Worked on real client projects.
As I am from an accounting background, the skills learnt will be invaluable in my accounting modules.
The Company
Really lively and enjoyable. There was a relaxed and comfortable vibe which was enjoyable to work in.
Well organised - there was always someone to report to or to ask for help from. We were given clear instructions on what we had to do.
Well invested - we were all given managers and it was clear that they had thought about and took out time to prepare appropriate work for us.
Very appealing - lots of benefits provided as well as the opportunity to complete the ACA whilst working.
The Culture
Good social scene in the sense that all the interns were placed closely together and so there were always other interns to talk to.
As it is in central London, travel and socialising i.e. dinners/drinks were fairly expensive. Accommodation rent is also very high.
Very good - close to lots of clubs/restaurants/bars.
Dependent on the team and how often they organised socials.
