    The Role

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • During my 6 weeks, I got flavour of tasks on different service lines (Performance assurance, risk assurance, data assurance, etc), and working on different projects I had a chance to learn about them all. Some of the jobs that I have been assigned to were quite technical which encapsulated my skill set. So I really enjoyed them a lot.

    4/5

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?
  • People in our team, are always happy to help not for only the jobs they are working on, but also anything that you struggle to find out which has nothing to do with their daily tasks. I never hesitated to ask a question about anything I struggle to do by myself

    5/5

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • They were always there to help me even when I didn't specifically ask for help. If it wasn't their guidance, I would need a lot of time to finish my tasks.

    5/5

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • I liked the work life balance I have experienced during m internship. As I was not required to do anything out of working hours, and was always busy with tasks during my day at the office.

    5/5

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • It really depended on the tasks, on some tasks I was feeling that the documents I am working on play an important role in their audit process, and on others the things I was doing was just to escalate the process of evaluation/documentation for the client.

    4/5

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • I have learned new programming language, improved myself on office programs, especially on excel, and so many communication and leadership skills came along during my internship.

    5/5

    The Company

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • It was quite good, although everyone was busy during the day, we always had a time to grab some drinks and catch up during the day.

    5/5

  • 8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?
  • It was well set up, although some trainings we received were unnecessary and not used at all during our internship period, I assume they can be adjusted so training reflects the real work we are doing here.

    5/5

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • Our first week was entirely devoted to training, and during the rest of our internship we had a chance to attend in several events organised by PwC, and know more about how company operates across the UK.

    5/5

  • 10. What were the perks on your work placement?

  • 11. How appealing are future employment prospects within the organisation?
