The Role
It was very enjoyable
Colleagues always asked about me and made me feel integrated
Fantastic support given by both my buddy and people manager, as well as members of the team who had no responsibility to do so but did anyway
Was kept working at a reasonable rate to give me a good idea of what the graduate job would entail
Fair amount of responsibility
Team - working and report writing. Also looking at proposals to clients and how its done
The Company
Although quiet at times due to the summer holidays timing, the team created a good working atmosphere
Each week had a different business area and specific mentors who would do an hour training session and assist me with doing that type of work throughout the week.
Many training sessions were given, which were useful generally as well as in the context if the job, for example tax and savings stuff.
Flexi Time
Company Parties/Events
Appealing
The Culture
Large 3 day event at the beginning for all interns from around the country, good for getting to know and also very useful socially
Lived at home, but travel costs were expensive. The pay was good, however socialising around the offices was expensive (as expected in the centre of London).
Between 2 offices where one had more than the other. Generally quite good and easy to find something to do.
it was encouraged, however I didn't get involved.
