About You
PwC went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and well fed on the placement. Entertainment was provided on the night and all of the staff were lovely. The workshops that theyput us on were also very engaging and interactive.
There were a lot of people on the Talent Academy, however, everyone had the opportunity to feel valued just by joining in and showing a passion for learning and progression. The final debate was were the greatest individual value came into play as everyone had their own duty and research to carry out and feedback to the group.
The Academy was all about finding out about PwC and so we were guided very helpfully through the experience and also in the debate. The dinner with the department seniors was an invaluable opportunity for support and guidance.
The information learnt on the Academy has given me a much surer vision of where I want to take my career and progress myself
The Company
We had hour long seminars to learn about each department and allocated research periods to prepare our debates
There was a very engaging and positive atmosphere to learn and make the most of the experience.
There was no real 1-1 interaction but that was not the purpose of the Academy. The experience is designed to give us a better understanding of different areas of PwC to then tailor our own interests.
Speaking with employees of PwC I got a very good idea of the day to day role of different people in the firm.
Very much so as I now know which areas I am more and less interesting
Very valuable
