The Role
I had a captivating experience at PwC- I was given several opportunities and was allowed to work with an array of clients.
My colleagues were always grateful for the work I completed and were willing to take time out to explain areas I was unsure about.
There was a substantial amount of support during the internship. I was allocated a peoples manager and buddy, who essentially proactively guided me throughout the internship, resolved any queries I had and made sure I had the best possible experience.
My workload varied but there were some instances where I had to actively seek work.
I was given a considerable amount based on my experience.
In terms of my degree, there were some crossovers but this wasn't significant as a lot of the work I was doing was specialized. However, the internship did significantly enhance my communication skills in the professional environment and problem solving skills.
The Company
Was quiet at times but positive- fellow colleagues would always ask how I was getting on which I appreciated.
After a weeks training, I was very well informed with what the internship would entail and what to do if I was unsure about anything.
The firm invested significantly in my development. I was assigned a peoples manager that tried to stimulate areas I thought I could improve in and set me targets. Furthermore, for the whole of the first week I had a training programme and then throughout the internship people were always willing to help out.
Flexi Time

The firm are very versatile and offer opportunities globally which is exciting.
The Culture
Yes there were socials and I often went out for lunch with fellow interns.
I was based in Birmingham, so this was a lot cheaper in contrast to London.
Good but use to it as I go to university here!
Yes- played in a work football team twice a week.
