The Role
There was a good variety of people to speak to and learn from. The work load was tailored to what I could handle realistically. Overall a good experience to get to know the company.
Everybody was helpful and patient. The seniors were always happy to coach and evaluate your work so I was made to feel like a genuine new starter.
I was coached through out the internship as everybody encourages that I asked lots of questions and really understand the tasks that I was expected to complete. There was a little time pressure which is understandable but everybody was patient and understanding that I was interning and the expectations were never unrealistic.
Depending on the jobs, on some I was busy because of approaching deadlines, on others less so because the stage of work needed some technical capabilities beyond my grade. It was a good mix in retrospect.
I was given enough to keep busy for the day. I rarely felt overloaded with work and the seniors were always ok with me carrying work over as long as I kept them posted through out.
I have a few accounting modules and having this experience really shifted my perspective on accounting tasks. I can definitely use the skills back at uni with the remaining modules.
The Company
The best way to describe it would be professional but relaxed, as long as communication with the supervisors were frequent and informative.
It was well organised but I wanted some changes here and there, which I was able to organise fairly easily.
Everyone really encouraged me to ask lots of questions. I was given a buddy who was there to answer even the most basis of questions so you don't have to ask them in the open. All the help I needed was there.
Flexi Time
National Travel
I am going back there hopefully after I meet the grade requirements, so I was sold on the idea.I like the fact that there is such a variety of people working there and there is opportunities to explore foreign offices at some stage of your career.
The Culture
The placement 西瓜视频s were based all over different clients but in general there was a good social vibe.
The main office was in London so It was expensive. But theres rare opportunities to go on away jobs for a bit where its all expenses paid. I didn't really feel it cause London is where I'm from anyway.
Its London.
Depends on the job really. I was on a job where the client relationship was good and we did have some mixed socials. Other jobs, not so much.
